DAVID HEFFERNAN
I am a historian with a PhD in early modern history from University College Cork in Ireland. Over the past decade I have published four books with Manchester University Press, Four Courts Press and the Irish Manuscripts Commission, as well as over twenty articles in international peer-review journals and other outlets. These have explored a wide range of topics pertaining to Irish and British history during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. I have also taught at third level at University College Cork, Queen’s University Belfast and the University of Galway. Today I work as a freelance historian, consultant, researcher and writer. This has involved working with government organisations, academics and private researchers, as well as a wide range of work with commercial companies, publishers and others besides. Feel free to contact me about any historical work you need undertaken. Either I might be able to help you or I can point you in the direction of someone who can.
